Transportation

Hi Guys,

I have had a great week meeting a lot of really nice kids.

I had fun teaching you a little about transportation.

I really liked how you ran around like a "chook with it's head cut off" ( an English expression for fast and wildly It is how chickens run after my Grandfather cuts their head off! yuk) when I called out TAXI, TRAIN, BUS, and TALL BUILDING.

I also liked how a lot of you laughed when you read the letter from Mickey Mouse.

I laughed a lot when you copied what I said. It is really funny to see a whole group of kids laughing loud at their own joke.

It is really a pleasure for Teacher Suzanne and I to work at this school. It shows us how important Taiwanese people think it is to learn English.

Keep learning English.
It is fun and will help you to travel overseas when you get older.

Now that you have played the game with me in transport you should feel confident to catch a bus and ask questions like

  • Does this bus go to the train station?
  • How much does it cost?

Or when catching a taxi tell the taxi driver:

  • "I would like to go to the train station".

I know there were some funny jokes during this week.

Can anyone write a quick joke that occurred in transport this week?

Have a great summer holiday!

Bye for now,

Karl
